Members Widget
What is it?
The Members widget displays all of the digital workplace members. Other members can see the names and (depending on the permissions set in the Public/Private Access tool) link to the contributing members’ profiles. The Members widget can show people from the entire site or just a specific group.
Configuration settings

This table lists what settings you can configure on the Options tab.
Setting | Description |

Title | Enter a title for the Widget. The title appears as a heading above the Widget's contents. You should use the title to provide users with an idea of why the Widget's content is important to them or to highlight the content's purpose. Titles also serve to better structure the content of a page by clearly denoting different sections. When entering a title, you do so only for your currently selected language. If your digital workplace supports multiple languages, you should click the field's Translation button ( |
Title link | Select to link the Widget's title to the digital workplace's People page. User's who click the Widget's title, if it has one, will go to the People page. The People page will initially only show members of the selected group. |
Description | Enter a description for the Widget. The description appears between the title and the Widget's contents. You can use this text to provide additional context to the Widget or instructions for using the Widget. When entering a description, you do so only for your currently selected language. Group | Select a group. The Widget will display members of the selected group. When configuring the Widget, users see the following groups:

Sort options | Select to sort members in the Widget. Options include:

Number of results | Enter the maximum number of members to display initially. You must enter a value between 1 and 99. If there are additional members to display, users can click the View All link found at the bottom of the Widget to go to the People's page. The People page will initially only show members of the selected group. |

Setting | Description |
---|---|
Choose A Layout | This determines how members are displayed in the widget. Options include List, Tile, Compact, and Thumbnail. |
Customize Your Layout | This determines the size of the member profile images in the widget. |
Appearance tab
Use the Class field to add custom CSS to this Widget.
Your digital workplace's CSS theme overrides other settings on this tab.
Member Profile Access
If member profile access within the Public/Private Access tool is be set to administrators only, then non-administrators will be able to see member pictures in the widget, but will not be able to view the profiles.
