Changing your email
The ability to modify your email address depends on the authentication method that manages how you log into your digital workplace. If you use Igloo Authentication, changing your email will change what email you login with and the email that receives notifications. However, if you use SAML Authentication, you can only change your Preferred Email which controls what email address receives notifications.
How to change your email
Users who authenticate with Igloo Authentication can change their email from the Login Settings page of their Personal Profile.
- Click your name on the Userbar to expand the User Menu.
- Select Profile from the User Menu to navigate to your Personal Profile.
- Click Edit Profile to be able to modify your profile.
- Select Login Settings from underneath "Edit Profile - Personal" to navigate to the page where you can change your email.
- Enter your new email in the provided text fields and your password to confirm the change.
- Click Change Email to apply the new email.
How to change your Preferred Email
Users who authenticate with SSO can change their Preferred Email from the Email Settings page of their Personal Profile.
- Click your name on the Userbar to expand the User Menu.
- Select Profile from the User Menu to navigate to your Personal Profile.
- Click Edit Profile to be able to modify your profile.
- Select Email Settings from underneath "Edit Profile - Personal" to navigate to the page where you can change your email.
- Enter your new email in the provided text fields.
- Click Change Email to apply the new email.
