Enabling and disabling pinning on Blog and Forum channels

Before a Blog article or Forum post can be pinned, you must enable pinning on the channel. By enabling pinning, content authors and users with at least Edit level access to content can set a pin on new or existing content. 

Users with at least Edit level access to the channel can change pinning settings.

How to enable and disable pinning on Blog and Forum channels

1. Navigate to the Blog or Forum channel where you want to toggle pinning functionality.
2. Click the channel's actions button to open the actions menu.
3. From the actions menu, select Settings.
4. Scroll down to the section Pinning content.
5. Select the box next to Turn on pinning. A check in the box indicates that pinning is enabled, no check indicates that pinning is disabled.
6. Select a default pin expiration date using the provided dropdown. The pin expiration date can still be set to a different value on a content by content basis during content creation or by editing its settings.
7. Click the Save button located at the bottom of the page to apply these settings.
