Getting started with automated solutions
Igloo developers will be able to automate various functions in and around their Igloo workplace. Our cloud accessible platform and RESTful APIs can be utilized by any compatible system, environment, or programming languages. This article outlines and highlights the primary ways in which a developer could introduce automated workflows into their greater IT solution with Igloo.
Note: There are so many different options and possible configurations on the internet and in the cloud. For that reason it is impossible to capture it all. If you don’t see what you’re looking for here, then you may contact Developer Support to review your specific use case.
Warning: There is no back-end, file system, or server-side access to the Igloo platform. For this reason, all forms of automation require an end-user operated and configured server, or a subscription to one of our partners that offers iPaaS services.
Tip: Consider viewing the Node.js documentation and code examples, as it will be self-evident how our API works in other programming languages.
Zapier is a web-based iPaaS service that allows end users to integrate with web accessible applications they use. Their system provides cloud connectors for over 750 different in-market products, including Igloo.
A full list of the supported Zapier triggers is located here.
Warning: This solution requires the end user to have a subscription directly with Zapier. Sign-up and use it for free for 14 days by following this link.
Another automated workflow iPaaS solution we support is built.io.
