Enabling the sub-navigation bar of a page
Add a sub-navigation bar to a root page to give users the ability to go to locations directly under that page quickly.
Considerations and caveats
Who can do this
Users with at least edit access to a page.
Display behavior
The sub-navigation bar will display when on the page or a location under the page and will only show the locations directly under the root page. Nested locations will not appear if they are hidden, or if a user does not have at least read access to them.
How to enable the sub-navigation bar of a page
You can only enable sub-navigation on pages that reside at the root of your digital workplace.
- Go to the page that you want to add a sub-navigation bar too.
- Select Actions followed by Edit.
- Select Show sub-navigation. Deselect Show sub-navigation if you don't want to show the sub-navigation bar.
- At the bottom of the page, select Publish Page to apply your change or select Save as Draft to save but not apply your change.
