What is it?

At the bottom of each channel, page, and space in your digital workplace is the option to send a link of the current web page via email to someone else. In order to view the linked content, the receiver of the email link must have the correct access level to the linked area. The Email Link option is not displayed for Anonymous users.

Use Cases

Sharing the location of a file with another person

If a member of your workplace requires access to a specific piece of content which you know the location of, you can quickly send them the link to the content by using the Email Link option.

Features and functionality

Clicking the Email Link button prompts you to open your local email client. From here you can construct the email, and add additional receivers.

How do I remove the Email Link feature from my workplace?

While there is not an option to disable the Email Link feature, it is possible to hide the link using CSS.
