This looks like it is an issue with how the "Download as PDF" functionality handles the filename. All of the other download options seem to be functioning as expected with the standard file name.
I have logged this as a bug with our Development team and the issue has an internal ID of IGLOO-13691.
The workaround is to continue modify the file name manually.
