Answers to some of the questions Support has received in May
It's been an eventful month as we look toward the end of the quarter, and today's grab bag answers a few questions and outlines a project we're undertaking.
Who can change the future publish date?
Anyone with Write Access can set a future publish date on content they're creating, but it takes Edit or Full Access to change the date after the fact. Most authors will be able to do it anyway because Channels' Author Access rules default to Edit, but if you have Write Access and need to change the date on a different post, or the Author Access rule is set to Write, you'll need to engage a Moderator or an Administrator.
Can I export a list of Space Administrators?
Yes! Every Group in your digital workplace is included in the Member Export, which is available from the Manage Members area of your Control Panel. The .csv download can be organized with an editor to return lists of members based on profile fields, group membership, or even last login date.
Why is my Customer Room different?
Some of you may notice changes in your Customer Rooms as we update them to a new template. It's more streamlined, and focused on helping you see your meeting notes and tasks, rather than prioritizing site news.
Everything from your old Customer Room is still there and accessible, and newer customer rooms already use the new template, but we wanted to improve the experience for everyone. The makeover project is underway, and we anticipate having all existing Customer Rooms switched over by the end of Q2.
