I am trying to find a way to identify if someone logged into a page has been subscribed to the parentUUID and all of the channels that reside under it?
So far what I am doing...
Calling the following to get parent, then pass that into to identify children.
var parentUUID = jQuery('#object-head h1 span').attr("id").substring("id_".length);
This returns all of the necessary channels that I am expecting...Great!
Now the hard part, the only thing that I can see that handles the subscription side of the house is the following. For each channel I can call the
item.statistics.subscribed parameter to get an integer, however this gives me the total number of people that are subscribed to the channel. What I really want is to know if the user that is logged in subscribed to that channel. Referencing the API library, I don't see anything that I can use.
So my thought was to defer to how the subscription page is being built, however this looks to be using a v1 version is that correct?
However this returns nothing for me when I try to execute against it.
<Message>An error has occurred.</Message>
Anyone have any thoughts, ultimately, what I am wanting to achieve is to call an API that takes a input for user and channel and returns a simple is subscribed yes or no, 0 or 1, T or F....anything binary.
