Digital workplaces are leveraged to solve for communication, collaboration, knowledge management and culture & engagement challenges with employees, customers, or partners. For some organizations, issues from their digital workplace users are stored and managed in ServiceNow. The new ServiceNow widget provides users the ability to view and create incidents directly from the digital workplace. This reduces context switching between multiple applications for users, and further drives engagement of their digital workplace.
The Unified Search enhancement now allows admins to select ServiceNow as a searchable knowledge base. Doing so will expose a contextual display, interaction and search interface for end-users between their digital workplace and ServiceNow. With this enhancement to Unified Search, digital workplace admins can surface personalized information from ServiceNow to reduce the need for the audiences to navigate to multiple systems.
