One of the keys to a successful Digital Workplace creating native language content helping to drive your corporate culture. This is especially important for organizations with a highly distributed workforce worldwide. In this release, we continue to expand the number of languages supported by the Igloo platform with the introduction of Traditional Chinese. Administrators can now enable Traditional Chinese (zh-hant) for their Digital Workplace. Once enabled for the Digital Workplace, users are able to change their digital workplace language preference allowing them to view application text in Traditional Chinese as well as being able to provide translations for user defined content (blogs, forums, wikis) and widget configuration options (e.g. title and description).
Call to Actions, or CTAs, can be used to provide a means for administrators to help drive traffic to the correct location in pages or spaces. In this release, users can now search their Digital Workplace for digital workplace content they wish to link to within the configuration UI, making it easier to find the destination you’re looking for and update the CTA widget as needed. As you type a query, an instant search occurs that displays the destination(s) that match your search term. The enhancement of this experience aids in findability and decreases the time it takes to configure CTAs.
Subscriptions provide a way for digital workplace members to receive recurring updates on content. Administrators can create subscriptions for groups while members can create subscriptions by following content. Subscription updates are sent as email notifications. The frequency of notifications can be set to instant, daily, weekly, or monthly.
The Subscription page provides users with the ability to update the frequency of their subscriptions as well as configuring whether or not they are subscribed to channels or content they create or comment on in the digital workplace. In this release, the controls that are used to manage subscription settings has been redesigned to provide more space on the page for users to view their list of subscriptions.
Additionally, in this release, two new options have been added to the manage subscription settings. These settings allow a user to better manage the email notifications they receive. Users will now have the ability to enable or disable email notifications on:
If a user disables email notifications for @mentions , they will no longer receive an email if they are mentioned in content or comments. If a user disables email notifications for all instant subscriptions, they will no longer receive email notifications for changes made to content for which they have set a frequency of Instant on the subscription.
In this release, we have standardized the way text is wrapped in the following widgets:
Previously, some widgets would add an ellipsis based on the column width, whereas other widgets would wrap text, resulting in an inconsistent look and feel across the digital workplace for some users.
