The Links Widget is a tool for aggregating important links on a page or space. These can be links to content inside or outside of your digital workplace. Users will now have the ability to configure accordions to groups of links.
Under layout, select the groups view to configure accordions. Enabling accordions allows for better organization of links and makes it easier for users to quickly and easily access content.
The Blog Article Widget is used to aggregate and display articles from one or more channels on a page or space. Publishers can now create more visually engaging content by configuring a default image for blogs with no image. Under Layout, select the full view and image position of beside or above to configure two different default image options: Show nothing or show workplace logo. The variation in display will draw the reader’s eye, which can contribute to greater click-through on content.
To improve the experience of administrators who are configuring workplace pages and spaces, usability changes have been introduced so users can quickly and easily manage widget translations. For each widget configuration, administrators will now have the ability to provide translations for widget title and description across all enabled languages in the digital workplace.
As digital workplace managers configure pages and spaces, the words they use matter, for all users. Following the introduction of the ability to provide custom hint text for the Search Box and Add Button, administrators will now have the ability to provide translations for that text across all enabled languages in the digital workplace. Your users will now be able to see consistent wording across languages, allowing you to ensure all users enjoy the same level of customization. In addition, if no translation is provided for a custom text value, the application will display the default text in the user's selected language.
Microblog posts are often used to share quick announcements, whether it's to celebrate a birthday, introduce new employees or to highlight a program. When viewing microblog comments, users need easy access to the most recent comments so they can participate in the conversation. To enhance the user experience, each microblog post will display the three most recent comments with an option to load ten more comments at a time. This allows users to easily access the most recent discussion, while increasing the performance of longer threads.
The Subscription page provides users with the ability to manage content they want to stay informed on and the frequency of these updates. With a more easily consumable list of subscriptions, users will now be able to page through the list of subscriptions, and sort and update the frequency of subscriptions at the same time. Subscriptions can be sorted based on Subscription Name, Content Type, Frequency Type or Date Subscribed. With the subscriptions page redesign, users can quickly and easily access and manage their subscriptions.
