The Photos in Folder widget displays images that are in a specified Folder channel. A new layout option gives publishers the ability to display photos in a slideshow format.
Select the image size and appearance, with auto-resizing that dynamically changes based on the image being displayed, fit to the height of the widget, or fill to width.
Publishers can also control the timing, transitions, and navigation controls when cycling through images, and choose the meta data that appears, including photo title, author, views, likes, and comments.
Quick search typically appears in the user bar at the top of every page, and plays an important role in the findability of people and content.
As you type a query, an instant search occurs that displays the top people and content that match your search term. Clicking on an individual result will navigate the user to that object. View All People or View All Results will navigate the user to the Advanced Search page with the ability to further refine a query.
The redesign of this experience offers a more modern look and feel that is consistent with the Advanced Search page and is optimized to improve readability.
When results from a query are generated, Related People appear on the right-hand side of the page.
The WYSIWYG editor is the primary tool used to create content. It enables you to author or reply to a thread in your digital workplace.
An upgrade to the editor provides an improvements when pasting text and tables that are copied from third-party applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs. It also enables a publisher to enter a custom color in Hex format when modifying the text or background color.
Iconography is fundamental part of the design language in the product and the icons have been refreshed throughout Igloo to help create a more cohesive experience. The goal: a system that is visually engaging, easily understood by users, and works well alongside a customer’s unique theme.
The new iconography will appear in a number of places - in user-facing scenarios for content creation and display, such as recent activity, folder content, attachments, and search results, as well as administrative areas, such as the site manager.
