Wolf is all about sharpening your workflow. It’s about empowering your team members, so that they can not only improve how they communicate and share knowledge, but also how they manage their work.
With our Wolf release we focused on improvements to existing tools based on feedback collected from you, our customers. These improvements improve the overall user experience to make it easier for you to get your job done.
Now you can take a task list and save it as a template for future use. Task templates are ideal for standard processes (e.g. onboarding checklist) or projects (e.g. new client implementation).
The channel picker has been re-designed to present channels and their location within the community in a cleaner and more consumable interface to make it easier to find the desired channel.
Pages were places to collect several content types of the same kind (e.g. multiple blog feeds for news). With Wolf, you can now organize multiple content types or features on a page to better organize and capture knowledge.
Content and channel tasks can now be re-ordered by dragging and dropping tasks to where you want it. This enables you to move a task relative to other tasks in your list or move a task into an existing task to make it a subtask (or pull it out of a task and promoting it to a task).
The task order is associated to the content or task channel and not a user; thus the order of tasks is the same for all users.
We’ve expanded the file types that you can preview to include vector (.eps) and Adobe file types (.ai, .psd), so that you do not need to have the software to edit those file types installed. This improves how you manage and collaborate around your digital assets, especially in working with external parties or in managing software licensing costs.
The new file types that have been added are as follows:
.psd .ai .vsdx .ott .oth .otm .odp .otp .ods .ots .sgml .sgm .css .rtx .xml .html .dot .docm .dotx .dotm .xlsm .xltx .xltm .xlsb .xlam .pptm .potx .potm .ppam .ppsx .ppsm
Spell checking now happens as you type, so that you have the opportunity to make changes while it is still fresh in your mind. Igloo’s WYSIWYG editor has been updated to leverage the built-in spell checker of your web browser.
The performance of the site map has been improved to support a larger number of navigation and sub navigation items.
The doc type has been from Strict XHTML-1.1 to HTML-5 to improve compatibility and accessibility across mobile and web browsers, so that you can use your Igloo community whether you are on a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
We have removed the ability to follow a space or page to reduce end user confusion associated with page/space notifications.
