With this release, we are excited to announce the next iteration of our Themes functionality. As promised, we are taking steps to make Themes easier to use and modify, faster to deploy, with more options to align with your corporate brand. Our ultimate goal for Themes is to make it easy for you to make your Igloo your own – by extending your corporate identity and brand seamlessly across your community.
With this release, we are building upon the logo UI, positioning and alignment enhancements launched in the previous release with new features that allow you a greater degree of control over the look and feel of your community, out of the box. Select one of four new themes, preview, and apply it right from the control panel. There is no custom development or coding required.
For a deeper level of customization, the Advanced Theme Editor allows you to write custom CSS to define the look and feel of your community. In each case, whether you use our out of the box Themes or our Advanced Theme Editor, we just want you to achieve an Igloo that is uniquely you.
The “Theme” page (located in the Control Panel) has been renamed to “Appearance” to more accurately align with the features inside, including the new Theme Chooser.
By default, all new communities will come with the Freemium theme enabled.
The following bugs have been fixed in this release:
We have continued to improve our email notification system to increase the speed and scalability of email notifications sent from the Igloo platform to end users, and by adding support for transport layer security (TLS)
Fixed an issue where documents were not able to be previewed if the title contained a quote ( “ )
Fixed an issue where authors could not be removed from drafted content
Fixed an issue where most recent Bookmarks were always sorted last
Fixed an issue where thumbnail icons were not displaying properly when performing a search and viewing related content
Fixed an issue where Read Tracking data was cleared when a new version of a file was uploaded.
