Google announced late last year that Google Universal Analytics (GUA) will be phased out and be replaced by GA4 by the end of June 2023. To facilitate a smooth transition for our customers who use Google Analytics, Igloo has introduced a new field for the GA4 tracking code. This field will coexist with the existing GUA field, ensuring a seamless migration process.
A "Feature Image" component will be introduced to the blog content creation page. This new component aims to make it easier for content creators to set an image that will appear in blog feeds across the digital workplace. When adding featured images, creators can preview and adjust them to fit up to 4 common aspect ratios used by the Blog Articles widget. [CARE-I-658 and CARE-I-775(partially)]
The Feature Image Component prompts content creators to select an image that will be displayed in blog article widgets that source content from the parent channel.
Once the image has been loaded, right-click it to open the edit dialog.
The content creator can manipulate each image to better fit its focal point in the preview box and improve accessibility by adding alt text.
Once saved, the new image will preview in the frames. To delete an image, simply click on the "X"
Different images can be used to better fit aspect ratios.
To enhance the appearance of images within widgets the platform considers page layout and widget configuration. The widget renders the image that best matches the required aspect ratio.
Note: This feature may not be compatible with widgets that have been modified by enhancements, particularly those with an 'equal column' layout.

Very excited about the "Feature Image" update! This will be an absolute game-changer in our digital workplace. Thank you so much for implementing that; I can't wait to test it out
Ally Hecht - I'm pretty excited about this too. I look forward to hearing your feedback :)
Does the Feature Image Function work with Gifs from GIPFY?
Ally Hecht my apologies for this delay. The feature does support Gifs in a limited capacity (they can't be edited). Helper text is being added in the June Release.
Let me know if you have any other questions or feedback about this feature.
