Igloo University Policies

These policies govern the instructor-led training sessions which are listed on the Igloo University Training Calendar provided to all Igloo Customers as part of Igloo University (“Training Events”).

Training Events require a minimum of 3 participants to proceed in their scheduled time-slot. Igloo reserves the right to reschedule Training Events that do not meet the minimum attendee requirement.

Customers will be provided with a minimum 2 full business days notice prior to cancellation of any Training Event that does not meet the minimum attendee requirement. Participants will be enrolled in the next scheduled offering of the cancelled Training Event (typically scheduled for 2 weeks later).

Participants will only be rescheduled once per Training Event that does not meet the minimum attendee requirement. Should the subsequent scheduled Training Event fail to meet the minimum attendee requirement, Igloo will run the Training Event regardless to ensure that our customers’ training needs are met in a timely manner.

To encourage diversity of thought and multi-customer interactions, we cap participant enrollment at a maximum of 4 per customer per single Training Event.

If a customer desires to have more than four participants in a particular Training Event, the customer can split up its desired participant group and spread them across multiple Training Events or, alternatively, engage Igloo to provide, for a fee, a private Training Event for the customer.

Participants must enroll for a Training Event 1 full business day prior to the scheduled date/time of the desired Training Event in order to provide sufficient time for Igloo to provide instructions, pre-work and access to the training environment.

Enrollment requests received less than 1 full business day prior to the start of a Training Event will be declined registration to the requested Training Event and provided alternate dates by the Training Facilitator.

Igloo reserves the right to cancel regularly scheduled any Training Event with a minimum 2 full business days notice prior to the scheduled date/time of a given Training Event.

Enrolled participants will be given the option to attend the next scheduled offering of the cancelled Training Event or to cancel and re-enroll at their convenience.

Note: This cancellation process excludes training included in the various Professional Services bundle packages (e.g., JumpStart and KickStart).

Customers may cancel a participant’s enrollment in a training event up to 1 full business day prior to the scheduled date/time of the event in which they enrolled.

Cancellations made with less than 1 full business day’s notice may result in the participant being deemed a No- Show (as defined below).

Cancellations are not permitted for private Training Events scheduled at a customer’s request: (i) less than 1 full business day prior to the scheduled date/time of the  applicable Training Event (in the case of online private Training Events); or (ii) once travel has been booked by Igloo Training Facilitators (in the case of in-person private Training Events).

Note: This cancellation process excludes training included in the various Professional Services bundle packages (e.g., JumpStart and KickStart).

Participants who do not attend a Training Event in which they are enrolled without either having cancelled or rescheduled at least 1 full business day prior to the applicable Training Event will be treated as a “No-Show”.

If a participant is a No-Show, for 3 or more Training Events, Igloo reserves the right to limit or decline enrollment by that participant in future Training Events.

Note: This no-show process excludes training included in the various Professional Services bundle packages (e.g., JumpStart and KickStart).

Igloo reserves the right to restrict the attendance of any participant who is deemed to have made inappropriate or abusive comments towards any other participant in an Igloo University Training Event. The participant will receive a warning from the Training Facilitator advising them to discontinue the behavior in question;  if such behavior persists, the participant will be removed from the Training Event and his or her enrollment in any future Training Events may be restricted.
