Language Selector - Userbar Quicklinks
What is it?
The Language Selector quicklink changes the current language displayed for you in your community. If a company supports numerous languages, this feature allows you to toggle between those languages. If your community only uses one language, the icon does not appear.
Changing languages will change all Igloo menus and prompts to display in that language. Also, community content that has a translated version available will appear in your chosen language.
If you work with clients or employees all over the world, you can translate your community into two or more languages to make it universal. The Language Selector allows you to flip between the various languages your company operates in.
How to enable additional languages
Adding languages to your community is a customization that we are happy to help you with. Contact your Customer Success Manager or our to add additional languages to your Igloo community.
Languages currently supported by Igloo include:
- Portuguese (Brazilian)
Frequently asked questions
Why aren’t all blog posts appearing in my chosen language?
When an author is creating content, they need to provide the translated version. The system does not automatically translate content. If a version of the blog post does not exist in your chosen language, it will display in the community’s primary language.
