|Question
Task notifications - do they exist?
This seems fairly straightforward, but I'd like to clarify. If someone is assigned a Task by someone else, does the assignee get an email Notification? If not by default, is there some way to enable this? If not, how would the assignee ever know they've received an assigned task -- purely by checking a task list on their own or by noticing the number of their To-Dos incrementing?
Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Hi Steven,
Task notification do exist, both on creation of the task and on changes to that task. As you've already surmised, a user can also see tasks assigned to them under the ToDos area of their user bar.
For further information check out the Tasks Channel KB Article.
Brad Rooke - thanks, so the notifications are default behavior for a Tasks channel, it looks like? (I see now "Subscriptions" settings on the Channel.) This is ideal - just making sure I'm understanding correctly. Thanks again, especially for the rapid response!
Is there a way to turn off email notifications?
Thank you :)
