Launched in time for ICE, the new Analytics Knowledge Base contains everything you'll need to use all of the analytics options available in your digital workplace. With resources on Workplace Analytics, Data Feeds, and third-party analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Mouseflow, we're working to equip you with everything you need to assess and model the activity in your digital workplace.
The analytics available through data feeds, workplace analytics, and other tracking tools available in Igloo can help you find out whether your content is drawing people into your digital workplace, how long they're spending there, and who your most active members are. It can be used to help shape your digital workplace to make workflows easier and improve search results, improving productivity and making it a more welcoming space.
The knowledge base contains information on every table available in your digital workplace's data feeds. This includes descriptions of each table's function, and easy lookups to match the various keys. It also includes resources for beginners, with guides on the data feeds structure, typical workflows when connecting and querying, and tips on how to manage your data.
We have guides available for connecting to data feeds through Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and several other services, giving you lots of options on how to query and visualize your digital workplace activity.
In addition to real life examples, many use-cases contain templates which can be imported directly into Microsoft Power BI and pointed to any connecting digital workplace. These custom-built templates make visualizing your data easy, and can provide resources on how to restructure queries to meet your own needs. Once connected through Microsoft Power BI, you can use these templates to answer focused questions, and as examples for how queries are constructed in Igloo's data feeds. Pull data on group membership, labels, document auditing, and much more.
In addition to guides on data feeds and Workplace Analytics, the new knowledge base includes tips on setting up Google Analytics, and enabling specific functions there, like event tracking. It also includes guidance on how to set up and integrate Mouseflow with your digital workplace, to assist with tracking the specifics of member behaviour, and cosntructing heat maps of areas of your Igloo.
Using these tools, you'll be able to address use-case specific questions, construct your own queries for digital workplace data, and ensure that every question about activity or auditing has an easily accessible answer.
