July Release is Live
Create eye-catching blog content in a multi-column, card view.
The Blog Article Widget now has a Card view when the full layout is selected. This Card view has a consumer-like feel to help drive engagement, and gives you additional flexibility for how you visually present blogs. You can configure the number of columns that appear in a Blog Article widget, and specify attributes such as card styles.
Filter the Widget Carousel.
When creating or editing a page or space, a menu of available widgets will appear in the Add Widgets panel. In the past, it could have been difficult to find a specific widget; now, users can filter the list to make it easier to find that specific widget you're looking for, and quickly as well. As you type a query an instant search occurs, and the widget(s) that match your search term are displayed. The enhancement of this experience aids in findability and accelerates the time it takes to configure a page or space.
Set the recommended sort order for workplace bookmarks.
![]() | Bookmarks can be saved privately as My Bookmarks, or saved by admins across areas as Workplace Bookmarks to surface valuable resources for others. Administrators will now have the ability to define a recommended sort order for the Workplace Bookmarks they add, in addition to sorting by date or alphabetically. This allows for better organization of recommended links to users. The sort order will be available to all users by choosing “Recommended” from the sort order dropdown in the Workplace Bookmarks section. |
Share content from Microsoft OneNote.*
OneNote is your digital notebook for capturing ideas, organizing a project or documenting critical information. Now, you can surface your individual or shared notes in Igloo. Admins simply specify the name of the notebook(s), section and pages when configuring the widget. When viewing a page or space with the OneNote widget, users who have access to the notebook will be able to view content contained within the selected notebook. Pages will be read-only within Igloo, but can be edited using the "Open in Web" link to launch the OneNote online application in a new browser tab.
*Note: this feature is targeted for release on July 18, 2018. If multiple notebooks and sections are configured without specifying a page for a section, that section will not display any notes.
Experience faster search queries.*
Igloo continues to invest in the search experience for better performance, scalability, and findability. Configuration changes made to the enterprise search platform that powers Igloo search has resulted in a 30% improvement, on average, to query response times.
*Note: the search changes above were introduced to all MT customers on June 20, 2018.

Serious update. Thank you!
Very happy to the Card option in the Blog Widget. Great update. Thanks
Excited for the OneNote integration! Will the widget be visible in the add widget panel on the edit screen once it is released, or is there something we need to do to add the widget to initiate?
Thanks!
Hi Michael Long ! Select the integration widget from the widget carousel and you should see the OneNote widget now. If you aren't able to see it, please log a support ticket. Thanks!
