A lot of questions this month have focused on content creation. More and more people are looking at automating content creation through email and examining the publishing process more closely. We also had a great search question that I couldn't turn down, and comes with some interesting use cases.
There are a few places you can find the email address for your Calendar Channel. Selecting the dropdown on the Add an event button on the Channel itself will give you the option to download the contact card, to be added to your email application. The contact card includes the name of the Channel, the url, and the email address.
You can also find it in the Settings area, accessible through the action button. From there you can see the default Channel email, which is based on the id of the Channel itself. You can also customize the email address to make it more friendly for other members there.
Yes! You can add as many Moderators as you need to a Channel in the Settings area. Moderators will each be given Edit access to the Channel, and when a new item is sent to the moderation team, they'll all receive the notification. In the moderation screen however, they can assign it to each other, which will make it appear in the Approvals section of their To Dos. Any moderators in the Channel can publish that content to make it live.
Yes they are. Every search in Igloo creates a url based on the search term and filters applied to it, and that url format is consistent. That means that you can link to searches you want members to be able to access quickly, or bookmark them for yourself. Here are some example searches:
If you have any other questions about the Igloo platform, workflows, or best practices, you can leave a comment here, ask a question in the Community area.
