Mobile Update - Igloo Mobile 5.0
| Igloo will roll out a major update with version 5.0. We have refreshed the UI and modernized the code for dramatically improve efficiency and performance. Targeting release February 15th - visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. |
Flex Access - Member Management
A new member management option that allows organizations to extend Digital workplace access to members of their workforce that do not have a corporate email address. This is an exciting opportunity for organizations to unite all employees around common, tools, processes, and information, particularly those with large numbers of frontline workers. This feature will need to be enabled by Igloo. If your organization is interested in leveraging Flex Access contact Igloo Support or your Customer Success Representative.
Creating Flex Access accounts
Account Activation
Once Flex access users accounts are created, an administrator needs to share the user with their username (MemberID) and a temporary password.
After setting up the password the user is prompted to set up 3 security questions that can be used in the event the user needs to do a password reset. There are 18 security questions that a user can select. *There is no option at this time for users to create their own security questions
Account management
Flex access users are not eligible to receive email notifications from their Digital workplace. From their profile, a flex access user is advised about this limitation to their account.
By editing their profile a flex access user can update their password and or security question (security questions are pre-set in the DWP) by navigating to the new "login Setting" tab. Answers to security questions are not displayed in this view.
- What happens if a Flex access user forgets their password?
- When a flex access user forgets their password they can click on the "forgot password" link which will prompt them to answer their security questions and then create a new password.
- What happens if a Flex access user forgets their user name or does remember the answers to their security questions?
- If a Flex Access user forgets their username (memberID) they will need to contact their site Administrator for a manual password reset on the member management page.
- Are there character restrictions for the memberID?
- Yes, the memberID is restricted to a maximum 63 character, however when creating memberIDs for Flex access users, Igloo recommends keeping these memberIDs to a manageable length of 8-12 characters.
- Are answers to security questions case-sensitive?
- Yes, security questions are case-sensitive.
