Dashboards and Points - anyone roll these out?
Hello,
Has anyone leveraged the personal dashboard or points system within Igloo? We haven't really tapped into either feature but with our upcoming onboarding of a large audience the points may help spur people to use the system by creating that competitive/gamification type of atmosphere. For the dashboard we offer personalized 'Quick Click' links to our most popular systems on our homepage. These are served up based on a limited # of roles but we're often asked to get even more personal with both links and content that's relevant to a user. The dashbaords could potentially help there but I'm interested if anyone has rolled these out, what worked, what didn't, what limitations did you hit w/in the platform??
Thanks in advance
Mike

Hi Michael Tomon,
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on your post. Your participation is what will make this community benefit everyone, so thank you, in advance!
For those who have not yet explored these features, check out this Points and Status KB Article and this Dashboards KB Article to learn more.

I wish I had something to add, Michael. We're about at the place that you are. I'd love to see some feedback on what others have done, too!
We looked into using Dashboards, but our employee focus group said they found the home page more useful at the time. I'd love to hear more from this community.
In our DW, The Corral, we are currently using the Points and Status as a 1-year-long game in celebration of our 75th Anniversary. We had to limit how employees earned points to rating, commenting, replying to forum topic and creating a forum topic so that our space admins/content creator did not get an advantage in earning points. To get additional Points and Badges, employees had to take a couple extra steps.
Although we've had great interaction and good feedback, in hindsight, I would have simplified the gamification process. Employees also asked me for a "Leaderboard" so they could see where they were in the competition - but that's not currently readily available.
HOW I SET IT UP:
Be one of the first three employees to earn 75,000 points and become a "Changemaker" by or before December 31, 2019 to win a $75 gift card either to Amazon or another online shop of choice – not to mention bragging rights!
Play by interacting and collaborating with colleagues in our digital workplace. You earn Points and advance to higher Status Levels by creating forum topics, and commenting on and rating content. Additional Badges and Points will be awarded by Internal Communications when you publish a blog in “That’s What Ewe Said” (our employee-driven blog) and fill out your Profile 100 percent.
Status Level
Each Status Level represents a milestone to showcase your interaction and collaboration on The Corral. Everyone will begin with zero Points.
