Read tracking for anonymous users
We know how to activate the read tracking on documents and others. But we would like to be able to track this information for people who do not have a user account yet.
Is it possible?

Hi Rachel Jacques - thanks for your question. Anonymous users can't be tracked via the read report as they're logged as 'guest' in the activity logs, so they're not tracked as anything other than that.
I did have a thought that might help - if you were to enable anonymous commenting - the user does have to input a user name and pass a Captcha 'not a robot' in order to do so, but you could instruct users to comment that they have read the information there. Their user name is also then added to the activity logs for that piece of content, and you could use either the activity log or the comment thread itself to ensure who's read what.
