Following Multiple articles in a wiki
Currently we have hundreds of articles stored under a number of wikis. each wiki is relevant to an area of our organisation.
I would like an easier way for a user to nominate to follow ALL the articles in wiki and not have to go into each article to follow each article individually.
I believe, a user can follow the wiki, however this just sends alerts when a new article is added or removed from the wiki. It does not send an alert email when a new version of an article is published

Hi Louise,
The detailed notification is definitely something we would love to see enhanced and this type of feedback added to our product feedback portal found here. Currently, as an admin, you can use the channel subscription page to subscribe whole groups instead of individuals. The Subscriptions page can be found by clicking the channel’s Action Button, and then select Subscriptions from the menu. You can also append "?action=subscriptions" on the channel to adjust the subscriptions.
This would at least make it so you can identify select groups and auto-subscribe them to their specific wikis.
I would love to see you add the additional details to our product zone and I'll be sure to tell all of my customers to vote along with you!
Hi Tom, thanks for the response however a user/or group can follow the wiki, however this just sends alerts when a new article is added or removed from the wiki. It does not send an alert email when a new version of an article (update article) is published, which is the main reason I need this.
We have our company policies and procedures published as articles on Igloo wikis, When a policy is updated I would like an automatic notification to the group that is responsible for implementing and following the policy.
Hi Louise Burke!
I understand. The first part of my post could have been a bit more clear. Currently, this isn't something we have in our notifications but a detailed notification is definitely something we would love to see in a future product update. I would love to see you add this feedback to our product feedback portal found here. That way any customers following this post can vote on that and our product team can see how important it is to our base.
Louise Burke - I was thinking this through under the lens of company policies. As you say, you want employees to review company policies when they are changed. My thought was, employing read tracking on these policies. It's a technique I see in a lot of digital workplaces, and the idea is that an employee would sign off on a new policy or version of a policy. When that policy is amended, you can remove the current read tracking information - be sure to export and save it first if you're tracking this data - and then send a reminder to all employees that the policy needs to be re-read and confirmed as such.
Louise Burke If specific groups need to be notified, you could use the broadcast feature after updating the article. I know that won't work for individuals but it would insure that everyone in a group gets the notification.
Thanks for the response Brad but the policies and procedures are PDF's attached to articles.
The employees are not reviewing these new/changed policies and procedures. They are using these policies/procedures. In using a policy/procedure, an employee may identify something that is missing or something that no longer works. I want them to be able to highlight this by adding a note to the article.
As the Igloo site system administrator and also the quality coordinator for my organisation, I want to be able to see ALL notes which will assist me in managing my quality portfolio.
having said all this, I also believe that a hard 3 month cutoff is silly and does not provide flexibility/customisation to meet all Igloo customer needs. Some customers may only want 1 month, others 6 months, others unlimited. Why not give the customer the option to determine this.
I am also frustrated that there is not even a report that will provide me with a list of all notes and which items the notes are against. At least then I could extract this data into Excel where I can use it.
