Do You Have a Culture Section to Your Digital Workplace? Ideas Needed!
So, our company is hitting a BIG milestone come November 1st, 2019. We're hitting 140 years in business. I want to create a culture Hub, that will house anniversary events, articles, chatter, history, etc. Does anyone have a culture hub? Any ideas, screenshots, thoughts, suggestions that you could share?

WOW Kim Hughes! Congratulations to everyone at JF Ahearn! Looking forward to hearing everyone's ideas!
Doina Plesoianu Andrea Gumz-Dietrich Roxana Lovrekovic Rick Batchelor - This is a great idea - which of your customers have a Culture area? @mention them here to share!
Kim Hughes at Igloo, within InsidetheIgloo - our own digital workplace, I would have to say our culture is largely built by content feeding on to our homepage. (Lots of sharing, positivity and celebration of successes plus general communication flowing in from multiple channels.)
We do also have a fully built Social Zone, which much like the Social Center Solution. It contains all links to:
I know some companies, like OMA have a Throwback Thursday post every week, that shows photos from their +100 year history. Jessica Johnston and Dania Massara can you share more about that? I think Kim Hughes would really like to know how you share these historical photos - which builds culture.
Thanks!
Diana
Kim Hughes holy....140 years!!! Thats amazing. Love the idea. I am certain we can get you some help somewhere!
I LOVE these - thank you, Diana! Yes, Jessica Johnston & Dania Massara - I will take any tips that you can share!
Hi Kim Hughes! we have a social zone, which started with the structure Diana May mentions above, and it is one of our community's most visited spaces.
Our social zone includes:
Good luck with your culture hub! I'd love to hear what you launch and how your audience responds!
Chelsey Louzeiro Thank you for sharing! I really like how you have kept Heifer’s theming in your naming convention within your culture area.
Amazing ideas Chelsey Louzeiro ......Moat Memoirs must get some hits. Who knows what turns up in a moat~ Love to know what the weirdest thing ever was ~
Brian McIlravey - I would have to say the weirdest thing was when the moat turned green one year. And also, we have multiple pictures posted of snakes eating fish much larger than them. It's kinda crazy.
so when visiting your site....dont picnic with your toes in the water is what you are sayin' Chelsey Louzeiro
Brian McIlravey, oh yes, you definitively have to be careful in the warmer months. We are located alongside the Arkansas River and protected wetlands, so we have a lot of animal visitors. Some more welcome than others! We've had geese raise ducklings in our moat, too.
