Anyone set up the Google Analytics GA4 yet?
I'm working through setting up the Google Analytics GA4 property for my community and have very little analytics knowledge. Does anyone have any tips for setup or encountered any issues/success? Thanks!

Chelsey Louzeiro, April Morris - adding my ear too!
April Morris - how far along are you in the setup process? I was able to get a test site set up and working with GA4 yesterday. Are you looking for information on how to set up, or discussion on what's available with the new reporting in GA4? If the former, I can certainly help. If the latter, I'd love to collaborate. If both, even better!
I had set up most of the property, but wasn't getting any data populated in it yet. I think I need to paste the Google Analytics code into my Igloo in the admin settings, but am worried that it will cease to populate data into my former Google Analytics dashboard. I may be totally missing something and have to go back through setup again. Any suggestions, Brad Rooke?
April Morris - There's a way to run both in parallel and you don't need to replace the UA code. The documentation for GA4 actually says that sites using a UA code exclusively likely won't be able to use GA4 properly, if it all - I had to set up Google Tag manager in order to get it to work. I'll work on setting up some instructions that I followed and post them here as soon as I can.
Thanks very much Brad Rooke! I haven't set up the Google Tag manager, so will work on doing that to get results.
April Morris - Just FYI - I was able to get results after setting up the Google Analytics: GA4 Configuration tag. There are some other steps to follow, but I only needed to set up the one tag to make it work.
Here are the steps I used to start getting data from GA4. I'll work on interpreting what I see, tips and tricks in the next little while and update.
